Maison Marsil - Boutique Hotel Koeln - Cologne

During my stay, I appreciated the very helpful and accommodating staff. The hotel brought a relaxed vibe, and the breakfast was excellent, with a chef cooking eggs to order. It was conveniently close to the Christmas markets, which was a highlight of my trip. I stayed for three nights to immerse myself in the local culture and enjoyed exploring various nearby attractions like the Cologne Cathedral and the Roman-Germanic Museum, all just a short walk away.

This hotel is cool and fairly clean, has amiable staff and magnificent location close to shops and restaurants. The double room is brand-new and has a lovely balcony, crisp sheets and a mobile. The breakfast variety is savoury with fresh products, terrific service👍

Had a fantastic group trip here! The location is perfect, just a quick walk to two multi-storey car parks and within reach of great shops. The decor adds such a cozy vibe, and the breakfast selection is great. Highly recommend the made-to-order omelettes!

The duvet was a bit thin for the large bed was great. I kept waking up cold and rearranging it.

Consider requesting a room with a balcony for fine views and a relaxing morning coffee experience.

The Wi-Fi service needs improvement, slow in certain areas!!! Creaky wooden floors are a nuisance, disturbing peace during late hours!!! The air conditioning is ineffective, leaving guests uncomfortable during warmer nights!!!

The location is superb! I walked to numerous shops and restaurants within 10 minutes. The breakfast selection was diverse and delicious, with fresh ingredients. Most importantly, especially Frank, were friendly. It reminded me of being with friends .

I did experience slight noise disturbances during the weekend that interrupted my relaxation.

Quite frankly, I expected a touch of class but instead experienced heavy noise disturbances and painfully slow WiFi. I would've loved a complimentary upgrade as a gracious gesture for these discomforts, however, it seems being a solo guest means you are completely overlooked. Absoluteley disappointing, I almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

A small kitchenette in the room added a unique touch. Noise from surrounding areas was noticeable at night, and the Wi-Fi connection was annoyingly slow at times. The room was on the smaller side, which might be a consideration for future visits.

This hotel had an amazing location, close to the city center, train station, bars, restaurants, and even two Christmas markets right next to it. I also noticed that the cleanliness was great, and the staff was very helpful.
